Dr. Anthony Fauci said Tuesday that both President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden should get the newly approved COVID-19 vaccine soon. “For security reasons, I really feel strongly that we should get them vaccinated as soon as we possibly can,” Fauci, the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” referring to Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Biden’s running mate. Biden should be “fully protected as he enters into the presidency in January,” according to Fauci. While Biden has declared victory in the 2020 election, Trump is contesting results in key states. The Epoch Times is not calling the race at this time.
